My two daughters have been attending swimming lessons at Kirby Swim since they were 6 months old (they are now 5 & 2 years old). I have nothing except super positive things to say about our experiences. Every teacher they have had has been awesome and so knowledgeable. What’s even more impressive is the real family/community vibe, I don’t feel like we are just a number but a real part of the great community. I would highly recommend Kirby Swim.
My little girl has been attending Kirby Swim since she was 6 weeks old, she’s now 9 months and a little water baby, has a lot of confidence already and really loves her lessons...so does her mummy!
Great purpose built facility, no strong chlorine smell which is a big plus. My son has been going here for 3 months. The instructors are very friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. i also love the way they have a focus for the lessons over a number of weeks so the kids really get a handle on a skill before a new skill is introduced.
Always greeted warmly on entry at Kirby Swim Karrinyup. The bathrooms are always clean and the teachers have a structured program to encourage kids to learn to be better than their current ability. Finally, the kids love the lessons. Thumbs up to Kirby.
I highly recommend Kirby Swim Melville. Fantastic staff right from the manager, instructors to the receptionist. Professional, friendly and helpful staff. Skilled instructors. Great facility. Handy location right next to shopping centre, restaurants and gym! Ample parking! My boy has been in one of their squads for 3 years. We love it there!
Very happy with the people and the quality of service. Our young guy enjoys it and has made very good progress that I know through first hand experience would not have been made in other places. Convenient location - can get the shopping done on the same outing! Could be more flexibility with cancellation fees when one is committed to 3 lessons a week. Thanks and keep up the great work!
Kirby Swim has been amazing for our girls who had no confidence in the water and one who was terrified to have her face in the water. The 1 on 2 teaching system is great as our girls get the attention they need to learn and progress. The teachers are caring and patient and our girls look forward to their swimming classes. For us as parents this is great as we have the confidence that they are being taught correctly and that they are having fun at the same time.
Great staff, and facilities. The swimming instructors are really great staff, and facilities. The swimming instructors are really enthusiastic, and the staff very friendly. They help the kids develop really fast. Water quality is excellent. No strong chlorine smell, or stinging eyes here. Can't say the same about some other swim schools.
Great business. Friendly, organised and because of them our son loves the water and is very safe around the water. Would definitely recommend them.
My children have been swimming with Kirby Swim Karrinyup since they opened their doors and I can't rate the staff highly enough. My daughter has had a few wobbles getting in the pool at times but the teachers and supervisors have been fantastic with her, so patient and kind. My son has progressed fantastically with his swimming and is a happy and confident swimmer. They are both gaining skills that will stay with them for a life time. Thanks guys, you are excellent!
The team works really hard to make sure that the kids enjoy their swimming. Their priority seems to be good technique and having fun. Small groups of 2-3 kids per class with high interaction from the instructors who are in the pool giving advice and correction on every lap. The instructors are all fantastic; i dont know where they get them. The kids get the same instructor every week, and written notice is given if there needs to be a change. The supervisor is constantly patrolling poolside tracking the progress of each child. My kids have been at Kirby Swim for 2 years.
We have had a terrific experience at Kirby Swim Melville. Our son has recently returned to swimming lessons after a 2 or 3 year break. The instructor - Emily has helped him improve his swimming strokes with excellent one on one discussion and demonstration. He recently moved up to the next level which was a tremendous boost to his confidence. We have found all the staff to be very friendly and encouraging.
Attending Kirby Swim in Mandurah has been a really positive experience for my kids. One of the best things about Kirby Swim is that I am able to get all four of my children into their lessons on the same afternoon. This is incredibly convenient and as a busy mum, I really appreciate that aspect of Kirby Swim’s ability to cater to so many different swimming classes simultaneously. I also love the small class sizes and the quality of the teaching is excellent too.
I love Kirby Swim in Gwelup! Family own pool, it’s amazing. I start with my daughter at 2 years of age and progressed in a one teacher to 2 kids class, when she turned 3. All the teachers are great, very good with kids and super fun and patient. The office staff is amazing too, very helpful, super kind and lovely.
The team at Kirby Karrinyup are incredible, not only in their teaching skills but also in their management, responsiveness and all round awesomeness. They always go above and beyond to help, and the swimming skills my children have gained have soared since starting at Kirby. We all adore the team, they feel like an extended family, and how they remember all the parent / children’s names is amazing. Everyone is so cheerfully welcomed. The pool is warm and the facilities always clean. We are so lucky to have discovered Kirby Karrinyup.

My kids have been with Kirby Swim for two years now and all of their teachers have been lovely. My daughter is developing great technique and my son is finally putting his face in the water. The facilities are good, parking is easy, no complaints!
